Swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck.

Surgery: Friday February 8th 2008
Scar from below right ear to below my chin. Also removal of my right tonsil. My cheek felt numb for several weeks like when you come back from the dentist after getting novacaine. Now sensation is coming back. It feels a bit tight, but the least of my worries :)
Official status is TX, N2b, MO. Meaning unknown primary, several lymph nodes, surgeon removed all visible cancer.

Planned for next week.

Will find out next week if they recommend it.

Chapter 6. The treatments.Views: 1167

Well i went through 5 weeks of radiation 27 treatments, and have 2 more left.
Sorry i dropped off the radar, but i my intention of commenting daily fell by the way side.
I will make this up.
This radiation has been gruesome and i will get in to the details of what has transpired the past 5 weeks.

I am coming out of the fog of the treatment and as i regain my strength i will elaborate.

Stayed tuned.

God bless all and your fights.

I can’t see very well. If I make a mistake, forgive me. I am so sorry it has been so tough for you. I remember how bad I felt and how I didn’t feel like doing anything. HANG IN THERE, MY FRIEND. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. HUGS, JOYCE

so glad your radiation treatment is almost over. Great news!

Hi there! My name is Heidi and I had tonsil cancer, treatment was surgery (tonsil removal and radical neck dissection) chemo and radiation. I finished my radiation September 12, 2007. It has been a long hard road but I want to tell you, I am so much better now! I know what you are going through…. it’s a very tough treatment and I was sick for a very long time…. but always remember there is a light at the end. I’d be happy to talk with you as you continue your treatments and begin your recovery.
